pref pane issue

hi

installed a test ver of visage which i later

deleted....

however annoyingly it still shows under system

prefs even though theres no prefpane under

/Library or ~/Library & theres no visage file

on the hdd



how do i remove it from sys prefs ?

    there has to be a cached version of it.

    look in your pref folder

    I had this happen with an older copy of SharePoints after I deleted it, too... I fixed it by going into /Library and deleting the old PreferencePanes directory (if you still have it) and creating an all-new one to replace it. Try that, it might help..

    um there is no prefpanes dir anywhere

    did you find a cached version of it in your preferences folder ?
