Soundstick Surgery

Hello! Yesterday, one of my Harman/Kardon soundsticks fell on the ground from my table. The speakers are functioning normally, but by the force of the impact the upper two speakers went loose from their clips. I asked my local mac dealer (where I bought the sticks) and they said I had to saw the enclosure (glued?) in two parts, to push the speakers back in their position. <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" /> I thought that wasn't a good idea because (don't know for sure) the material behaves like glass, a knife could create a larger problem (and hole). Can anybody help? Thank you -- Papilio

Thank you all for your input I just got a message from Harman/Kardon: The satellite speakers of the SoundSticks are sonically welded together. There is no way to open the casing without possibly damaging the speakers. You will have to glue the speakers back.
