Icon problems with OSX 10.1.5

Anyone know what this is about? I pop an audio CD in my computer and all my folders suddenly have thick black stripes? Then, when I try to take a screenshot of it, the Finder relaunches and everything is back to normal.



So now my questions are: Why did the finder restart when I took a screenshot, and why did stripes appear on my icons?

    Yes, the "striped icon" is a bug in the 10.1.x Finder. What's happening is there's a leak or something in the Finder and it's running out of memory. Yes, this is very strange, seeing as memory allocation should be dynamic under OSX. Relaunching the Finder should clear up the problem temporarily.



    I'm not sure why the screenshot would kill the Finder; though, I strongly suspect it would have been linked to the memory problem I mentioned.



    From what I can tell, this bug was fixed with 10.2.
