Powerbook 1400 and VGA adapter woes
I have a Powerbook 1400 with extra graphics card (for duel screen support). It works fine with an external Apple monitor.
I also have a VGA adapter. It works fine with other Macs.
But the two together will not play ball. The Powerbook recognises the adapter, and shows the appropriate panes in Monitors and Sound. And when I turn the laptop on, the monitor comes out of sleep mode. But the screen is still black.
Since the laptop's graphics card, the adapter and the monitor all work fine, I don't know what to do.
Any suggestions?
