Final Cut Pro - Please Help me!

Hi, I am haveing a problem with Final Cut Pro 3. I am capturing the video and audio from a VCR through a digital video camera as a pass through. I had to change the capture device to "non suported" as that was the only way that it would let me cature anything. Once I did this I am able to capture individual clips. The video and audio seem to be captured OK and I save the clips, then I import them back in. However when playing the imported clips back in Final Cut there is no sound coming out. Also I tried playing the tutorial clips that come with Final Cut and they have sound but it does play. The sound in iTunes works so I am guessing there is some setting in Final Cut to fix this?



Any ideas?



I am very new to macs, and really appreciate any help.

    You might should check to see if the audio is set to playback on the FireWire device. I think that's the default. I'll fire it up and check the preferences for the name of the specific setting in a bit...
