Eudora 6.2.3 to Lion-compatible email client?

I want to switch my OS to Lion but need an email client compatible with Eudora 6.2.3.  I tried Eudora Mailbox Cleaner to move it to Apple's MAIL and it transferred my folders but none of the content in the folders.  In other words, all my hundreds of filed emails were left behind in the move.


 


I need help. Please advise.  I'll be happy to consider another email client besides MAIL if it will accept all the addresses and full folders from Eudora.

    HOLY cow, Eudora.




    My grandmother had to use Eudora in 1994 for her school e-mail. That takes me WAY back…


     


    Apple's Mail is absolutely what you want to use.


     


    So try some of these. I realize some are broken, and hopefully they're not the ones you need, but try them out.
