iMac wont stay asleep

Pretty self explanatory...

iMac 800MHz 15", connected to LAN and VST Floppy Drive, (w/ Color Kit) standard white Pro Mouse and Keyboard, running OS 9.2.2. Carbon Lib 1.6, AppleScript update installed.

Put it to sleep, it stays that way for about two seconds, then comes back on with no user intervention.

Unplug your mouse before going to sleep and plug it back in upon wake up.

My dual 500 sporadically does the same in OSX unless I unplug the Apple Pro mouse first. It'll go to sleep and then wake itself up in a matter of seconds.

Thanks...I'll try checking out the LAN activity thing.

Already experimented with unplugging the USB devices...no dice.

hey, and if that doesn't work, I think a good shot of barbiturates (think Penthotal) will knock your mac out for at least 12 hours.
