Burning ISO for PC

I am downloading FreeBSD now to install onto a PC, and it is a .iso file, I know that is like the disc image format for PC, but was wondering if I will be able to burn that to a CD to use in a PC...does Toast support that file type like a .img or .dmg?

    i understand that, i just didnt' know if it was supported, i can always have a PC friend burn it for me
