Apple comply with ASA request

In light of the FlashBack malware incident, Apple UK received a request from the Advertising Standards Authority to make changes to their "Why You'll Love a Mac" page.  Apple have complied with the request; making subtle changes and relying on implication rather than making absolute claims.


 


These changes have coincided with the launch of Mountain Lion and seem to have been applied to other national sites beyond the remit of the ASA.

     It happened in the last 24 hours, when apple updated the pages to cover Mountain lion (hence the google cache still shows it).


     


    The previous changes were more substantial, these are more subtle.
