Partial installment plan?

I just got my book advance from school, if I have money to pay an installment for a month, then pay it off entirely when my full refund comes in, would it cost me more than buying it outright, how much more, and how would I set up a payment system like that?


 


Basically, my money comes 4 days after the Apple Education Discount ends, and I really want to take advantage of that if possible, How do I do this? Would an actual Apple store be more easy to make a deal like this?

    The discount does not ever end. The special where you get a $100 gift card ends.
