ram in a dual 867

real quick and to the pint. i am a broke college student who cant afford pc2100. so can i use pc133 sinse its tech. the frequency as the fsb. if i rem. rightonly the ram to the system controller is ddr.

    Let me make sure I understand this. You want to put PC133 ram in a PC2100 slot? Not going to work. If you could even make it fit (which you can't), the PC133 ram will probably get fried when the mobo tries to use it as PC2100.

    oh, i thought i heard of some pc's being able to use either or. oh well

    I think there were some older motherboards (on the pc side) that had both PC133 slots and DDR Slots
