In the following order; Hendrix, Lennon, Cobain, Mercury, Holly, Elvis.
Hendrix is at the top of the list for his work on the guitar. He was amazing and still is. I like John Lennon more for his political statements and his impact there. I like Nirvana and while I don't feel Cobain was more talented than Mercury but I like his more harsh sound. Mercury was very charismatic. Holly I can't say much about but I am not an Elvis fan at all.
Stevie Ray Vaughn. But it wouldn't be worth it, not just for one gig. It would have to be for an extended time so that the body of his work would be increased. Second choices would be Janis Joplin or Keith Moon.
