10.2.3 & terminal

after updating to 10.2.3 i get this msg when i open a terminal window...
"terminals database is inaccesible"
anyone run into this before ? & if so whats the
fix

tried that...no go....reinstall is not an option..
really pissed at the moment beacuse i cant run vi
or emacs or access my oracle db or do anything
cmd line....
path looks ok....
do you have a termcap file in /etc ?

fixed .....missing entry in /usr/share/terminfo
normally these entries are stored in a db
in /etc/termcap on unix systems
for some odd reason apple choose to flatten
the entries out...
