Windows 8 Sync to Outlook

Since upgrading to Windows 8, I have not been able to sync my Outlook contacts and calendar. This worked fine on Windows 7. I have reloaded th iCloud Control panel and have turned sync off and on several times. Photo stream does work in both directions so it is an Outlook sync problem only.

    Since I did not get any responses, I kept on trying. Today I succeeded. First, I closed outlook and uninstalled the iCloud Control panel. Then I rebooted the PC. When I restarted, I downloaded and re-installed the iCloud program. It did link and sync to Outlook this time and it looks like all is well.
