I have an old iMac graph 500 mhz DV+ special edition (if i remember correctly) with a slot loading cd-dvd drive

but it won't work anymore. I had this problem a while ago allready but after 1 restart it was fine again, now I restarted 4 times and it still doesn't work. Anything I can update orrso to make it work again properly ??

what do you mean with "it doesn't work anymore" ?

? do the cd's mount on the mac ?

? have you tried another cd ?

? does the drive spit them out ?

    ? etc

It doesn't want to take the cd's. I can't put them in the drive, it just blocks, it doesn't "eat" the cd's if you know what i mean

well, when i try and put the cd in the slot nothing happens, normally it makes a sound and "accepts" the cd, but nothing happens, I guess i could push it in but i'm afraid that would make thing worse

    get it now ?
