i tried searching the forums with no success so excuse me if this has been asked before:

when playing a sequence of photos in iPhoto, i always get them playing back from newest to oldest. is there a way to reverse this and get them to play back oldest to newest?

thanks in advance

the forum search is dead right now.

I opened iPhoto for the first time since I'm on Jaguar because of your post and played around with it. I couldn't find a solution to "turn" them around.

Maybe someone else who is more iPhoto "savvy" can help you. sorry. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

possibly i dont understand yr question correctly, but there seems to be a simple way to do this:

    1. select a photo in the folder you want to play chronilogically.

    2. edit / select all

    3. edit / arrange photos / by date

for good measure, you can also, but at yr option, change the title of each slide to the time it was taken as well. you can change it back to roll number, or name, or whatever you want, later, as well. i generally dont bother to name each photo (too many). instead, i keep my iPhoto library named by date taken.

important: there is a check box in the main pref panel for iPhoto that, if checked, forces the photos to have the most recent at top. make sure this is NOT checked.
