Accessing email on a shared computer

Sharing between my MBP and iMac works well with a few exceptions.  


 


One exception is that I can't find a way to access MacMail (on the iMac)  from the MBP. I don't want to download all email to both computers.


 


 Is there a way to see email on the other computer?  Can you point me to Help on the subject?
