Use OS X Addressbook in OpenOffice?

Ok, here is where I find out which of you are really good with X11 apps and which of you are just big talkers.



I am trying to get into using OpenOffice and was hoping that one of you could tell me, how do I get OpenOffice to use the address book built into OS X. I know that it uses LDAP so that is the first step, now how do i get it to talk? Or is it even possible?

    Address Book can access an LDAP server to read its database entries. OpenOffice, I believe, can do the same.



    So you could set up an LDAP server (it could even just run on your own machine) and connect both apps to it. In theory, at least.
