Customize Firewall Policies in Snow Leopard?
I recently bought a Personal VPN so that I can surf anonymously.
Unfortunately, the app seems to drop my "Private VPN Tunnel" more than I'd like.
And today, that meant I was surfing "naked" all day.
Someone said that if I could tweak the Firewall Settings on my MacBook, then I could make it so that if there wasn't a secure VPN Tunnel, then I couldn't connect to the Internet.
Is that true?
And if so, how in the world would you do such a thing?!
(Back when I was a Windows person, I had some add-on Software Firewall that seemed fancy enough to probably let you d such a thing. Wish I could remember what it was called?! But I'm not sure Apple let's you tinker with their built in Firewall...)
Sincerely,
Debbie
