What's going on with widgets? Does Apple still support them?
I downloaded a couple of widgets from Apples web page and when I unzipped them and double-clicked them, I got a warning message saying that they were from (I'm paraphrasing because I forget the exact wording) unknown vendors.
So, where do we get new widgets? From the app store?
Now that I've got an external monitor, I don't get pissed off when I hit the F12 key as I moved the widgets to the external monitor. So I would like some additional ones since we only get around 20 or so from Apple.
And does anybody know if here is a spaces menubar app that shows how many spaces you have going? I think I'm kind of liking spaces in 10.8 because you can change the desktop background for each space. (Didn't see how to do this in 10.6).

Right-click and open if you get that; it's Gatekeeper.

... Counting? Or are you still on Snow Leopard? I'm confused.
