Good Remote for Powerpoint presentations with Macs without IR

I am fairly new to the wonderful Mac world.


I purchased  a new Macbook Air and a Macbook Pro 15" retina display, neither of which have IR, and use powerpoint regularly. One of the very few things I miss about windows world is having a good remote broadly similar to the nice logitech remote that I have and love. I know that there are remote solutions for Keynote, but am not ready to abandon Powerpoint yet. I will appreciate any advice.

    Geez, Logitech, you're better than this. Good luck getting me to buy anything from you again.
