Loaded 2010 MC Pro vs. Clean 2012 MC Pro?

Hi guys, I'm going to be going into my freshman year of college as a math major, and I am wondering if I should buy a 2010, 2.26ghz, 500gb HD, 4GB RAM, with tons of programs (CS6, MC Office Pro, Fusion Pro, Logic Pro 9, etc.) for 650, or one that was bought in Jan. 2012, 320gb HD, 4gb RAM, 2.3ghz i5, osx lion, that's clean, with the software only that it came out of the box with, for 750. They are both 13" models. Thanks!

 

I realize the Jan 2012is the 2011 model also haha I forgot to fix the title before posting.

The 2010 model you describe has to be a 2009 model if it has a 2.26GHz processor (Core 2 Duo):

The 2011 model is much better to get - Core 2 Duo CPUs are not very fast and heat up quite easily. You can also get the latest model here for $999:
