Hello there, i'm about to purchase a power mac w/ a ATI Radeon 9000 Pro graphics hardware. My goal is to work with final cut pro and achieve ultimate VIDEO quality. I colud kick in another 300 bucks for the NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti, but would it deliver grand results? Which graphics hardware would be overkill for my needs, keeping in mind that , again, VIDEO is my field? <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

For Final Cut Pro you won't see the difference between the two cards.

Unless you are playing lots of games or running 3D apps like Maya, Cinema or Lightwave

Same yourself that extra $300 and buy me a meal

oh by the way....if you don't have any monitor yet consider getting the 20" Cinema Display.....it's so good on playing DVDs
