Web service IFTTT gets iOS Photos and Reminders integration in update
In an update to its iOS app, Web-based automation and productivity service IFTTT (If This Then That) added deeper integration with Photos and Reminders, improved background syncing and added swipe gestures for iOS 7.
IFTTT for iOS reached version 1.2.0 with today's update, bringing a few more iOS-specific actions to add to the app's existing recipe repertoire.
For those new to IFTTT, the Web tool allows users to set up "recipes" from a number of attached services, like Dropbox, Flickr, Facebook and more, to trigger automated actions that send data across the Internet. For example, a first action, like taking a photo and saving it to iOS Photos, will trigger a second acton of uploading said photo to Flickr.
The iOS version of IFTTT first launched in July and offered users a number of iOS-only actions to take advantage of Apple's mobile hardware.
