HELP! Finding and formatting a firewire hard drive
I just got a <a href="http://www.coolmaxusa.com/product/pd_list/product_fw_list_03.html" target="_blank">Coolmax firewire case</a> for my <a href="http://www.maxtor.com/en/products/ata/desktop/diamondmax_plus_9/index.htm" target="_blank">Maxtor 120GB Hard Drive</a> hard drive. I've connected everything up (using the Master jumper settings), but niether Disk Utility nor Drive 10 nor ASP seem to be able to find the drive.
Any ideas? The coolmax instructions are of abosolutely no help whatsoever, and I'm stumped.
Thanks!

Did you make sure to set the HD to 'master' instead of 'slave' or 'auto'? I've made that mistake before.

Yeah, I initially had it on slave, and after realizing that it wasn't working, I tried master, too, without success.
