Using a VCR with my iBook

I dunno if this would be considered a Digital Hub question but how I connect up a VCR to my iBook? Would i need any special hardware? All i want to do is have a VIDEO IN signal going into my computer so i can watch videos on it. All suggestions are welcomed.

    Yes you do need a piece of hardware and there are a number of ones that can do it. The most recent I've seen is one called EyeTV, and it's at (I think) <a href="http://www.elgato.com."; target="_blank">www.elgato.com.</a> Most of the converters I've seen are USB, but there are some Firewire ones as well. Firewire costs more though.

    yeah i knew about that... i didnt know that it supported Video In from a VCR as well.. hmmm
