All of us a sudden my Nikon won't transfer to my MacBook Pro Iphotos. Been doing this since I got the camera with no problem, now all of a sudden it won't. I saw that others had the same problem in the past and wonder how it's been resolved.
Try using a usb card reader. That's what I've done for a long time now having had issues with many different camera brands. Plus side is you don't drain your camera battery. There is no down side
