The Perfect Mac Jukebox

I'm trying to sort out what model will make the Perfect Mac Jukebox. What would you all say?

My main criterion is that such a Jukebox ought to be cheap enough to devote solely to iTunes.

Other than that I guess the questions are:

1. Laptop or desktop? How portable would an ideal Jukebox have to be?

2. CD-RW? Seems likely you'd want to be able to burn CDs of your own, but maybe not.

3. Firewire? USB? Which do you want, or both? This depends on whether you want a portable mp3 player.

4. Networking. Do you want ethernet, or Airport too?

The main candidates I can think of are

* A Lombard Powerbook.

* A Pismo Powerbook.

* A slot-loading CDRW iMac.

* A new iMac.

Any opinions?

    A Flower Power or Blue Dalmation iMac with CD-R.

    But I don't get the whole idea to begin with. But if I had money to burn on a "music only" Mac, that's what I'd go with. Just have OS X, iTunes and all my music on there. Then hook up a set of SoundSticks or whatever to it and go.

    I chose the pattern ones because a digital jukebox may as well look funky and cool, right? Plus, those were the models unveiled first with the CD-R option and tied in to Apple's whole "digital music" focus this time last year.
