    I've tried to figure that out myself. They must surely have a plan of some sort but I'll be damned if I can figure what it is.

    Did you think that Palm was going into the desktop OS business? I think not. Palm probbally saw some cool possibilities in BeOS that could be integrated into Palm OS. Or they just wanted a tax write off..
