iCloud Drive storage.

Hi AppleInsider!

I am loving the new announcement for iCloud Drive and I think that it could really do well against dropbox and google drive (amongst others). But one thing that I didn't find explained very well was where are the documents stored? I have a MacBook pro which, with all apps, music and photos hasn't got very much harddrive space left. Will my documents be stored in the cloud until want to use them or will they only be stored on my MacBook and sync with the cloud when I update the document?

 

Any Ideas?
