Better deal out there?
I am going to buy <a href="http://www2.warehouse.com/product.asp?pf_id=CPU1692&cshop=&blind=no" target="_blank">this</a> (iBook/500/DVD/$1099+shipping from MacWarehouse) or something similar soon for my Spring Break trip (I need something to offload my pics too) and I wanted to know if anyone has found a better deal on either a 500/DVD model or a 600/DVD model for around $150 more... Also--other then the 100MHz in chip speed, 34MHz in bus speed, and 5GBs in HD space, are they any other advantages to getting the 600MHz book? Like does the new power adapter come with the 500MHz iBook?
TIA for any help, I am leaving on the 23rd so waiting for MWTYK's stuff is not an option--all i really need it for is to d/l pics and watch dvds on the road--I will also be using it when I am home, but that is my #1 priority right now for the machine. Any input is welcome.
