I need an alternative to Flip4Mac for Safari playback.

    Holy crap, that brings back memories. Why do you need Flip4M... oh, right, the Activity window is gone forever so you can’t just direct download the .wmv...

     

    Doesn’t Perian do wmv?

    Perian is no longer supported. I'm not sure you can even install it under Yosemite. That being said, there are a crapload of .wmv files on the web (lord knows why)... and they don't seem to be going away.

     

    The OSASCRIPT warning is normal for many apps. It's been so long since I ran Flip4Mac though, I don't remember.

    Works fine. I don’t know about WMVs with it anymore, though.
