best firewire hard drive

I am looking to purchase a firewire hard drive to supplement my internal drive on my G4 450. I purchased a digital camera and I am quickly burning up space. What is my best bet under $300? Thanks for any input.

make your own . buy a decent looking firewire enclosure and then get a good fast hard drive. If you don't feel like doing that, go with a LaCie.

I'm in the same situation. Where could I get an enclosure. Any recommendations?

I've got a ClubMac brand 60 gig firewire drive and it's been great.

why dont you just mount an internal drive? I think it would be cheaper and faster then an ext F/W drive....
