Black Friday at MacMall kicks off with up to $300 off Retina MacBook Pros, $200 off Retina iMac, up
MacMall's Black Friday sales are now in effect for Mac hardware, offering up to $300 off MacBook Pros with Retina display, $201 off the new iMac with Retina 5K display, and a $601 discount on the new Mac Pro.
The Black Friday Sale, which is now live, offers shoppers a 13.3" MacBook Pro with Retina display, 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM for $999.99, a savings of $300. For most customers, state sales tax is not applicable to orders through MacMall, which could mean additional savings of more than $103 for some shoppers.
MacMall is also offering $201 off the top-of-the-line iMac with Retina 5K display with 4.0GHz Intel Core i7, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB fusion drive for $4,198. The base model with a 3.5GHz Core i5, 8GB of RAM and 1TB fusion drive is also discounted $151 to $2,348.
The biggest savings can be found with the Mac Pro, where the base model with a 3.7GHz Intel Xeon E5, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is discounted $201 to $2,798. A greater discount of $301 can be found on the 6-core 3.5GHz model with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, available for $5,098.
And a top-of-the line 12-core Mac Pro with 2.7GHz Intel Xeon E5, 64GB of RAM and 1TB of storage has $602 knocked off its price to $8,998.
Shoppers outside of CA, CO, GA, IL, MN, NC, NY, TN, and WI can calculate their additional tax savings by multiplying their local sales tax rate against the list price. For example, a local tax rate of 8 percent (or 0.08) on an $1,299 MacBook Pro with Retina display will net customers additional savings of more than $103.
