MBA if they dropped ports in favor of a Retina display which would you buy?
Assume Apple took the Macbook Air and removed the MagSafe 2 and USB in favor of USB-C and a Retina display -- which would you buy? Let's assume for sake of argument that they left the effective battery life, weight/size, processor, Thunderbolt, SD card, and analog headphone ports unchanged. Personally I'm not certain which I would buy but I lean towards the current model. The Retina display is some nice eye candy but the Magsafe is a huge requirement for me. I simply couldn't work with the idea that I should use the computer on battery and charge it during off-use in a safer location.
