is the iTMS FINALLY going to offer hi-res audio?

Just saw this concerning Iron Maiden's upcoming release formats:

 

"High res audio (24-bit Mastered for ITunes and non-Mastered for iTunes)"

 

Does this mean the iTMS is finally going to sell hi-res audio? Otherwise I don't get the point of having a 24-bit "Mastered for iTunes"...

 

What do you guys think?

    This has been prerequisite for the "Mastered for iTunes" label since its inception a few years ago. 

     

    There isn't really much of a point to it, other than that the material is remastered to AAC directly from 24-bit files, rather than having been dithered down to 16 bits first.
