2 simple harddrive questions

Will there be any loss of performance when partitioning the disk(s)?



Will it be any different when the disks are set up in RAID 0, and if so, how and why?

Not that I am aware of, and if you use a partition of a disk as say a scratch disk for PS or use it as a swap disk in OS X you will see a performance gain.
