The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will ship to a further 40 countries and territories starting on Oct. 9, followed by additional rollouts on Oct. 10 and Oct. 16, Apple said on Monday.

Most of the regions getting the devices on the 9th are in Europe. The full list includes Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, the Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Maldives, Mexico, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Taiwan.

On Oct. 10 several Middle Eastern countries will be added, namely Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The 16th will see the phones ship to India, Malaysia, and Turkey.

Apple is planning to launch the products in over 130 countries by the end of 2015, although it hasn't made any announcements beyond next month.

The phones arrived in 12 regions last Friday, including coutnries like Australia, China, Germany, and the United States. Apple said on Monday that it has already managed to sell over 13 million units, beating last year's launch of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Beat the 6 and 6+ rollout sales, that's impressive! Clearly I'm not the only one who's been waiting for the 6s.  :)

Not everyone in those countries are terrorists... just the Muslims¡ That's why Apple should only sell to countries with decent Christians¡

Apple pretty much confirmed that they've managed to increase production capacity.

They announced 40 more countries for Oct 9th with additional countries on the 10th and 16th as well (they'll be in 61 countries by the Oct 16th). Last year Apple had 81 countries by the end of the year. This year they plan on having 130 countries by year end. Seems pretty obvious that Apple has improved production, which is why they're able to roll out new countries at a rate much faster than previous years.

I wonder how much they'll beat last years 73 million by?

Apple controlled there sale#. They studied well last year that they would have sold 20M in the first weekend if they wanted to. So, not including China in the first round was strategy. I dismissed the iPhone 6 late approval last year in China where $$$ can get everything approved in 1 day. Apple have so many cards to play in their hand. They can increase the sale by just releasing another color. White iPhone 4 and Rose Gold iPhone 6s proved it. Apple can even make both Gold and Rose Gold with black front and sell a bunch too.

And then Modi said to Tim Cook - "What about us? We are primarily Hindus".

Tim Cook responded: "Don't have  a cow man!".

After realising that Modi is a vegetarian, Tim decided to release the iPhone on 16/10 (DD/MM) in India.
