Apple making headway in Hollywood
Sorry if it's been discussed to death, I really don't visit this part of the forums often, but I saw this quote at <a href="http://www.darkhorizons.com/news.htm"; target="_blank">Dark Horizons</a> and thought y'all might be interested:
"- A film like "What Dreams May Come" which she worked required its own unique software programs only, which from an FX artist point of view make things quite easy. Seems a lot of graphic designers are now moving over to Linux and Mac systems which makes things more accessible for the budding filmmaker."
That sounds like Apple is doing a great job! What I love about Apple is that they know what they're good at, and they have the presence of mind to attack those areas, even if it doesn't make sense at the time. Apple has a habit of making sense only in hindsight, and I think that's what makes the future grand for all of us!
