Apples horrible screen AR coating

Holy shit, Apples AR coating is bad! It also picks up finger grease like crazy, so I just used water on a microfibre cloth, very gently because I've heard stories of exactly this, and fracking this happens. I think they just changed their policy to cover this, but the hassle is still a drag even if they do. And even if they fix it, no guarantee it won't happen again, unless I go forever without cleaning the stains off the screen.

    I use eyeglass cleaning wipes made for antireflective lenses & screens. I don't have a frame of reference or understanding why it's bad AR. I've not seen very much, if anything, that is as good as the latest AR surface on Apple devices, short of the textured screens and that's a different trade-off entirely.
