MWNY : Why No Seminar Announcement?

Posted:
in General Discussion edited January 2014
Hey, has anyone received an email invitation to sign up for the MWNY Keynote this coming Wednesday? I've looked at seminars.apple.com and have been watching my email box for my usual invitation, so far NADA.

Any clues on why there's been no invitation? I meant to call and ask last week but forgot. I plan on calling tomorrow.

EDIT: By the way, I don't mean sat-casts for the Apple Store(s), I mean for Apple training sites.

Apple will be webcasting the keynote address by Steve Jobs on July 17th at 9:00 AM.

    You don't listen well enough!

I know that there's a webcast and that the Apple Stores will be showing the keynote as well. I'm asking if anyone who frequents professional Apple seminars has been invited to the keynote sat-casts as has been tradition for several years.

Nobody else here go to these things?

I know what you're talking about and I've been wondering as well. Maybe they're hoping people will go to the Apple Store instead? You can't buy any products at the Market Centers, plus they give out free beverages and stuff. Maybe it was costing them too much?

At the bottom, hit Search Site

    Search for name: Keynote

Some places have shown up, other usuals haven't, like Apple Reston, VA.

drewpops, could you post the 1-800 number for Apple Seminars? I can't find it.

I've been checking seminars.mac.com this entire week looking for the NYC Site which is usually inside the Citicorp building. But for some strange reason, the satellite broadcast is now at NYU's library. Unfortunate, cause the Apple floor in the Citicorp building is really nice and I always use my hands to fiddle around with the models. Being in NYC, I thought it had to do with the high alert status.

Oh well, I think this year I'll give Tech TV a shot.
