Apple quarter results very good!

With all the talk about iMac sales drying up I was expecting really bad news but there was none at all. Apple sold 808,000 units. That is a very respectable quarter. Obviously they want to get back to the 900K - 1 million they were selling before the MHZ gap and grow even further, but there is nothing wrong with 808K.



I thought they were going to announce something scary like 650,000 or something like that. There was really much ado about nothing.

    Can't help but worry sometimes. The Alpha Top numbers were scary low, but they either picked up or more were sold through other channels.



    If Apple keeps the iMac so close to the eMac specs, I do think the eMac will cannabalize sales. But I think tomorrow will take care of that.
