Here is a quote from one of the paragraphs:

[quote]My suggestion: free upgrades to 10.2 for anyone who bought 10.0. Customer self-sacrifice of such magnitude should be rewarded. 10.1 users should get a break, too: at least 25 percent off the full $129 price. Treating your most loyal customers the same as the waffling fence-sitters is not a good way to maintain that loyalty.

Free for users who bought 10.0 but upgrade price for 10.1 buyers?

Seems like it should be the other way around.

Here is what I think:

Anyone who bought a boxed copy of 10.0 or a computer with 10.0 installed - $50.00 rebate

Anyone who bought a boxed copy of 10.1 or bought a machine with 10.1 installed - $80.00 rebate

Anyone who bought a boxed copy of 10.1 or a machine with 10.1 installed within 90 days of July 17 - Free

Hows that?
