Is PayPerListen tracking in our future?
Will Apple also be the innovator in royalty tracking software and media subscriptions?

With iTunes3 Apple can keep track of how many times you listen to songs etc. on your Mac and iPod.

This seems like a natural step towards pey per listen music subscriptions. Apple could lead the industry in a secure format, legal, digital music distribution scheme.

These secure "MP3" (sMP3) collections would only cost the consumer when listened to. I guess they will have to charge 5-10 cents to my Apple (Bluetooth) iCard charge acount.

I wish Apple would work with my Cable provider so that I could have pay per view TV on my Mac.
