Start-up Chime

When I used to work at school I remember accidentally stood on the keyboard of an old machine, 7100/66 I believe it was, and it played like Mozart or Bach or something but I never got it to do that on my g4 any one else have any info about this?

    When there was a hardware error at boot on the 7100 class machines, the Mac would play the screech of tires followed by a crash. On the older 68k machines like the Quadra there was a series of heavy piano chords.

    Yeah i remember the screeching tires thing an easy way to get that was just restart over and over and over again really fast.

    Performas played a little melody that haunts me to this day....There was a force error key combination though...Ctrl Option f or something of that nature...if anyone remembers.

    ah while searching for a way to find those startup chimes I cam across a site that had different startup chimes from the very first to the one we got now. They had the sound the LC made man I feel old.
