WINTEL refits
This company <a href="http://www.retrosystem.com/" target="_blank">http://www.retrosystem.com/</a> has refits for classic computer and game console cases:
<a href="http://www.retrosystem.com/amiga.htm" target="_blank">http://www.retrosystem.com/amiga.htm</a>
Amiga 1000 anyone? They fit a small WINTEL PC motherboard into the Amiga 1000 case. They sell it for $1199USD, which cost about as much as an Amiga 1000 system back in 1985?
Or how about an Atari 2600?
<a href="http://www.retrosystem.com/atari.htm" target="_blank">http://www.retrosystem.com/atari.htm</a>
They are also working on a Nintendo Entertainment System refit.
Have they gone bonkers? I've seen PC clone systems sell for $600USD that had more features in them.
Still PC companies are still looking for a better case design. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />
