What Should APPLE do? (maybe someone from Apple will pick up)

Apple should create teams dedicated to optimizing different aspects of each product. Suppose have a team that only works on the Bus's of all of the computers. Then another team works on integrating different processors with it and seeing which does the best.

I think another team @ Apple should look at doubling their Mhz and Ghz every year. Or at least helping Moto or IBM look into feeling that way also.

Umm, doesn't Apple do that now? How do you think that they design products??

I can see it now. An Apple GHz evangelist goes to Motorola with the mission of making Motorola as angry at themselves as Apple is with them. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" /> Not the job I would want.

Countdown to this thread getting moved/locked...

I am sure that Apple has this very thing. Not so much as dedicated to just the system bus but specialized engineers. We don't get an 8" Cube that is fanless without such engineers.

I was trying to see what people thought Apple's shortcomings were. What would be better for the future.

Why the world hasn't seen more Mhz and Ghz in the lineup, when the Mhz of Apple's exceded or rivaled their competitors for a clear knock out in the past.

Granted I know the technologies have gotten better, and still rival other chips, but I'm wondering where the knock-out went. I wrote the original post pretty late at night, sorry about that.

What are your opinions and insight as to where the company should go.
