ISP Retaliation

I've recently been informed by a top level Tech Support Supervisor from Time Warner that I will be charged and most probably be put under a cease and desist order by them should I continue to report that Apple products receive significantly less throughput via internet than their own windows based test equipment.

This followed a conference call with an Apple Senior Adviser calling Tier 3 Time Warner with me. I was assured by tthe supervisor that on their decision a cable tech would be dispatched and that he would not leave until the issues were resolved. Unfortunatelythat supervisor only documented that such a call took place but not that he assured me all issues would be fixed;. I had to ask the tech to leave due to his attitude and lack of proper documentation.

It is further unfortunate that Time Warner holds a monopoly in delivering such internet speeds to residential customers.
