Help! Is 2700.00 Euros for a new Cinema HD Display a good deal? Should I be wary... he's from the Netherlands.

    The retail price for the 23" Cinema HD is US$3500. Assuming an approximately 1:1 exchange rate between the US dollar and the Euro, that's a good deal. I've seen a refurb Cinema HD on - oh, I can't remember whether it was <a href="http://www.smalldog.com"; target="_blank">Small Dog</a> or <a href="http://www.macresq.com"; target="_blank">Mac Res Q</a> - for about $200 more than that.



    I'd be wary on any purchase that size, yes. If he won't use escrow or take a credit card (PayPal doesn't count), stuff it.
