    Solution: don't use Internet Explorer.

I am easily able to save any movie from OmniWeb, including Apple's switch ads. It works fine in Chimera/Mozilla too.

I think I may have misunderstood what you were asking. If the above link doesn't help you out any, try <a href="http://a772.g.akamai.net/5/772/51/414177e6cd89e6/1a1a1aaa2198c627970773d80669d84574a8d80d3cb12453c0 2589f25382e353c32f94c336ad168aed55/ellen_feiss-sref.mov" target="_blank">this one.</a>

    The thot plickens:

<a href="http://www.friedgreens.com/view.php?post=2030"; target="_blank">One article</a> at friedgreens.com, allegedly posted by an acquaintance of Ellen's, claims that Ellen is zoned out on Benadryl, not marijuana.

The poster further alleges that, faced with a camera, she made the whole story up.

Oh, and for the older, male... "fans" out there: The web's most adorable product shill is 14.

    There's a <a href="http://www.friedgreens.com/view.php?post=2031"; target="_blank"> followup post</a>, also on friedgreens.com.

    [edit: fixed URLs. Stupid UBB. <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" /> -Amorph]

I could be wrong but those friedgreens posts look bogus to me. They try too hard to sound not-too-certain of what they're saying if you know what I mean. Like "errol morris, or something like that" ... you're not real familiar with the guy, but you know exactly how to spell his name? I've been on the Net long enough to know that never happens.

That second link links directly to the quicktime file on the Akamai servers. If you still can't see it, I would venture to guess that you have a QuickTime or browser problem. Are you using at least QT5?

On a semi-related, note, I noticed that in Ellen's <a href="http://www.apple.com/switch/stories/ellenfeiss.html"; target="_blank">email</a> to Apple, she says [quote]the whole paper just disapperred. All of it.<hr></blockquote>

But in her commercial, she says

[quote]And then, like, half of my paper was gone.<hr></blockquote>

    What's up with that?

I wonder if she took similar artistic license while writing her paper? Maybe that's why it was so good?

What's the big deal over some 14 year girl?

Personally, the switch ad that caught my eye is Janie Porche. Spunky young lady.
